Rebecca Bloomwood is a columnist for a financial magazine although she knows nothing about derivatives or stocks and shares. She hates the job, but at least she has a stable income.

Review

Her one major problem – Rebecca is a shopaholic! She cannot resist and will have to buy something that is on sale, and she pays for everything using her credit cards.

Her obsession with shopping continues until the day she has to meet up with the bank manager because she can’t pay her debts. She goes into hiding at her parents’ place. Her whole life transforms when she helps her neighbours who have lost money that they have invested.

She finally gets a job that pays well and even love, but will she ever learn her lesson and stop her obsession with shopping?

Definitely a light read for all women who want to get away from  reality and have a good laugh. I will definitely catch the movie adapted from this book. I am sure it will be one light-hearted, romantic comedy – a good way to get away from the stressful life!

This is my second time reading this book, but I will never get bored of Rebecca Bloomwood and her hilarious confessions.
