State Subject Matters Upfront

Print E-mail

Use an appropriate subject heading in your letters and emails. Do this so that the recipient of the mail knows exactly what it is that you want to communicate.

Pointers

  • Avoid subject titles that are too general or vague, e.g. "Enquiry" or "Problem with order".
  • Give useful information and be specific. E.g. "Enquiry about English@Work newsletter subscription" or "Problem with QT7866".
