People have limited concentration, especially with long presentations. To keep them interested, we need to give appropriate signals.

At suitable points, do a re-cap and tell them where you are going so they will be better able to focus on your message.

  • E.g. “I just pointed out the problems with the old software. I will now tell you how the new software deals with these issues.”

Signals help your audience and they will thank you for them.
