‘Ri-co-chet’ (chat) and ‘ri-co-shay’.
These are two of the more common pronunciations. But both are wrong!
The right way to say it is ‘RIK-ker-shay’.
The stress is on the 1st syllable and the 2nd syllable is pronounced as ‘ker’ and not ‘co’.

Hopefully, when penalty kicks are taken, the ball will land in the net and not ricochet (RIK-ker-shay).
