For this edition of Rock Your World, The British Council - a valued partner of the Speak Good English Movement - brought in acclaimed UK poet/writer/producer/DJ Charlie Dark for a one night only Rock Your World performance at Timbre Music Bistro & Bar, the official venue for the Speak Good English Movement this year.

The lecture theatre was filled, but this time it wasn’t for a lecture. It was the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) - Plain English Speaking Award (PESA) Finals!

Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap, a theatrical production co-presented by the Speak Good English Movement and Youth Empire, and performed by How Drama company, had a whirlwind run over the course of 3 Wednesdays from 5 to 19 March 2008.

It was an extra-special day for students in Temasek Junior College (TJC) as the School Invasion Tour, endorsed by the Speak Good English Movement, kicked off their 6 month long tour in the TJC auditorium on 31 January 2008!
