Partner Programme - Rock Your World: A Social Networking Initiative

Over 48 weeks from August 07 – June 08, the Speak Good English Movement (SGEM) reached out to 9,500 young Singaporeans with its weekly Rock Your World (RYW) programmes at Timbre - showcasing good English expressed creatively through music, oratorical performances, film, drama, stand up comedy and poetry.

Partner Programme - Speak Good English Day at Singapore Polytechnic

Partner: Singapore Polytechnic

Rain could not dampen the spirits of students from Singapore Polytechnic as they had a ball of a time speaking good English.

The Speak Good English Day, held on Nov 28 at the Singapore Polytechnic was organised by students and lecturers from the School of Business, which aims to show students that you don't have to sound like the Queen of England in your bid to speak good English.

Valuing the lessons of the past through interaction with the elderly and promoting the art of storytelling were the two main objectives of the 2007 Stories My Grandparents Told Me Storytelling Competition organised by The Speak Good English Movement, Acropolis English Centre, the Arts House, and the National Book Development Council of Singapore through its 2007 Singapore International Story Telling Festival.
