Create/Edit/Publish Items Partner Programme – Is Your Child Reading Enough?

The Reading Specialists Association (RSA), in partnership with the Speak Good English Movement (SGEM) 2006 and NLB, organised a half-day free forum for parents, tutors, teachers, caregivers and educators on helping children to reach their personal potential as readers.

Speakers presented ways to understand the differences between readers, examined beliefs that affect instruction and provided food for thought about literacy acquisition in young children. The topics covered were What Type of Reader Is Your Child?, Busting Reading Myths and Ingredients for Raising a Successful Young Reader.
