In conjunction with the Speak Good English Movement (SGEM) 2006, British Council rolled out a series of 6 workshops on emotional literacy for young adults, featuring local and foreign celebrities.
Partner Programme – Getting To Know The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)

A 2-hour workshop on the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) was conducted for the public to introduce them to the sounds and symbols of the English Language through related activities, games and puzzles.

The Reading Specialists Association (RSA), in partnership with the Speak Good English Movement (SGEM) 2006 and NLB, organised a half-day free forum for parents, tutors, teachers, caregivers and educators on helping children to reach their personal potential as readers.
