Partner: Reach Learning Centre
Reach Learning Centre held a workshop for 9 to 12-year old children and their parents to explore the concepts of phonetics and encourage good spoken English.
Partner Programme – Carnival Speak! Speak Good English Movement 2005 Launch
In conjunction with the launch of Speak Good English Movement (SGEM) 2005 on 13th May, a weekend of fun-filled activities was lined up for the public at the HDB Hub Mall. They had a chance to sample the various creative ways that make learning English more enjoyable for adults and children alike. All activities were free and on a first come, first served basis.

The British Council conducted a workshop for working adults to improve their business English and hone their presentation techniques. Not only did participants learn the correct pronunciation of commonly used business terms, they also became more confident speakers after the session.

Partner: The Walt Disney Company
Children aged 4 to 7 years old were transported to the 100-acre wood with Winnie the Pooh and flew away to a fairytale land with their favourite Disney princesses in this storytelling session by The Walt Disney Company.

Ms Julia Gabriel from Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning conducted a session for 5 to 6 year-old children to encourage the use of good English through role-play, rhythm games, and speech, vocabulary and pronunciation exercises based on poems.
