Ms Tan Cheng Hung from Blue Sky Learning Workshop shared practical tips on how parents can use a range of storybooks and picture books to help children improve their English in a fun and interactive way.
Partner Programme – Women Learning English (WISH) Programme Graduation 2005
Partner: Society for Reading & Literacy (SRL)
WISH is a 6-month basic English course for women beginner learners spearheaded by SRL. The graduation ceremony this year was particularly significant as the graduates were the first to complete all 4 modules of the new WISH curriculum.

Music, poetry, dance and rap were incorporated into stories in the “Magical Moments” Storytelling Competition.
Partner Programme – “Oh, Can You Say…!” Clearer Diction, Better English
Partner: Reach Learning Centre
Children aged 6 to 8 years old attended a fun workshop by Reach Learning Centre to achieve better diction through the use of tongue twisters, rhymes and language games.
