Seize The Day!

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

A commonly used Latin phrase, this exclamation urges someone to “seize the day!” – make the most of the present time and not worry about the future.

Pronounced kah pay di em, the phrase comes from a Latin poem by the Roman poet Horace.

  • Don’t stress over the renovation. It’s such a beautiful day – carpe diem!
